My room is very spacious and clean. There is a window and I have a desk under the window. There are bookshelves besides desk. The wastebasket and stereo are under the desk. My clothes hanger is across from the desk. Although my room is spacious, I really love spending free time.

It sounds like a great place to relax. I love my bedroom too. I spend a lot of time there reading and talking on the telephone.
Here are some tips.
1. beside the desk
2. There's a window and a desk under the window. (don't use "I" because it changes the subject of the paragraph)
3. There's a wastebasked....(Use "there is/are" when you're describing a place)
4. spending my free time there (no free tiem)
5. Why did you say "although my room is spacious"? Don't you like a spacious room?
